Park Walks and Lake

Ashley Park has over 4 acres of landscaped parks and grounds.

We have an extensive Camellia area, picturesque lake, and picnic area. All the gardens have well marked paths that are suitable for all ages.

Fishing for perch and eel in the lake is permiited without a license for those wanting to relax for a few hours by the waters edge.

Another interesting walk is the Ashley Park Farm Walk. This 45 minute walk is a moderate walk through a range of New Zealand countryside. During the walk you will pass by Basil's favourite water hole.
